John Stenton Sweeps up some of the sand and wood blown on to the Parade with the aid of a wheelbarrow kindly lent by Charlie Harper. It took 4 full wheelbarrow loads just to get the parade back into looking reasonable.

Hopefully after the bank holiday he will have another go!

Some members of the IVP volunteer to help katherine  to paint  the Instow parish council toilets in the car park to benifit the visitors and residents alike.

You know what they say? A volunteer is only someone that did not understand the question!

Looking at the pictures of Katherine, Rachel and John I it may apear that after four hard working days the paint fumes may have got to them?

Just one of the very few breaks the gang had in the race to finish before the end of the week.

All done just in time for the Appledore and Instow Ferry Blessing at the end of the week, we wonder if the vicar has a spare moment after blessing two ferrys  in two villages,   he might just have time for one more ?
